The MT-RJ duplex patch panel provides a high density transitionbetween building cables and active equipment. Up to 24 duplexadaptors can be fitted to this panel to accommodate 48 fibreswithin 1U. This is double the density of standard ST or SC patchpanel that can only provide patching for 24 fibres in 1U. Designedto fit standard 19 " racking, the panel has adjustable mountings sothat it can be installed flush or recessed within the cabinet. Insituations where the distance between the cabinet door and frontpanel is limited, recessing the panel provides additional space sothat the patch cords are not damaged when the cabinet door isclosed. A variety of cable entry holes are located at the rear ofthe panel to allow a wide range of cable variants to beaccommodated. Cable entry hole blanks and fibre management areincluded with the panel. A complimentary range of cable glands,that are supplied separately, ensure that cables are secured andenter the panel in a controlled manner. A simple to remove lidgives easy access to the panel interior. The MT-RJ adaptors withdust caps are supplied separately. Above each of the duplexadaptors is a prescribed space suitable for identification labelsto be attached.
