The LANmark-6 EVO Toolless Snap-in connector is part of theNexans modular system and fits in all structural hardware designedfor this range. As such it supports all data applications definedfor Cat 5, Cat 5e and Cat 6, such as 10baseT, Fast Ethernet,Gigabit Ethernet, 155 ATM, 622 ATM, 1.2 ATM?

Performance

The LANmark-6 EVO Snap-in connector has been designed to reachthe highest performance in Cat 6 and Class E. It has outstandingperformance for attenuation (insertion loss), NEXT/FEXT, Power SumNEXT/FEXT and Return Loss, exceeding the Cat 6 connector specs asin ISO/IEC 11801:2002. Used with Nexans LANmark-6 cables andpatchcords, the connector is independently tested to exceed thelink and stringent four-connector channel requirements as definedin the ISO/IEC 11801:2002.

Installation

The LANmark-6 EVO Snap-in connector makes easier and quicker thetermination thanks to exclusive design of the wire organizer and ofthe sliding metal EMC rear cover. The LANmark-6 EVO snap-in is atoolless connector designed to be terminated by hand, withoutpunchdown tool. For faster and easier installation of largevolumes, an optional universal comfort tool can be used. This toolincludes also the exclusive extraction mechanism which makes theEVO series snap-in re-usable. A stranded version is available forreliable termination in consolidation point of 3 or 4 connectorschannel models.
