Application

The Nexans Essential-6 top connect panel is based on 19" framedimensions and has 24 Category 6 RJ45 ports on 1HU. It supportsClass E applications up to 250 MHz. When installed in conjunctionwith Essential-6 cable and outlets, a 20 year Class E LinkCertificate can be obtained from the Nexans e-service site.

Design

The Essential-6 top connect panel is compatible with thecomplete Essential-6 range and can be used with all types of UTPCategory 6 cable with solid wire from 22 to 24 AWG. The panel comesin smooth painted black and is also available in grey-white finish(N424.600). Transparent label holders are positioned overscreen-printed numbering 1-24 which can be covered by includedpaper labels for customised port identification.

Performance

The Essential-6 patch panels are compliant with thespecifications of ISO/IEC 11801:2002.

Installation

• Fast and easy termination of IDC blocks from the top by LSA+punchdown tooling.
• Wiring according to colour code T568B.
• Integrated cable fixing plate with tie wrap strain reliefensures cable management and retention.
• Supplied with fixings and tie-wraps.
• Termination access is optimal when Nexans 19" outrigger is used(N500.120).
