CU/XLPE/PVC/AWA/PVC is a XLPE insulted, PVC bedded,aluminiumwirearmoured and PVC sheathed cable with circular annealedcopper conductors complying with BS 6360 class 2. The cable isdesigned according to BS 5467. The armour is a single layer ofaluminiumwires, laid in a left hand direction. The core hasharmonized colour and is covered with an extruded layer ofpolymericc ompound.The external surface on the outer sheath isembossed "NEXANS GS BASEC ELECTRIC CABLE 600/1000V BS 5467 "H"NUMBER OF CORES X NOMINAL AREA OF THE CONDUCTOR XLPE YEAR OFMANUFACTURE" +meter marking. The cable meets the requirements forflammability stated in IEC 60332-1 and BS EN 50265-2-1. The cableis certified by BASEC.
