CU/PVC/SPLIT CONC./PVC is a PVC insulted and PVC sheathedsingle-phase split concentric cable with circular phase conductorof annealed, stranded copper complying with BS 6360 class 2. Thesplit concentric layer consists of a neutral conductor of plainannealed copper wires covered with PVC and an earth continuityconductor of plain annealed copper wires. The neutral and the earthcontinuity conductors are separated by 2 PE strings. As binder onelayer of plastic tape. The cable is designed according to BS7870-3.20. The core has harmonised colour. The external surface onthe outer sheath is embossed "NEXANS GS BASEC ELECTRICAL CABLE 600/ 1000 V BS 7870-3.20 "H" NUMBER OF CORES X NOMINAL AREA OF THECONDUCTOR YEAR/MONTH OF MANUFACTURE" + metre marking. The cablemeets the requirements for flammability stated in IEC 60332-1. Thecable is certified by BASEC.
