Orion3 Base and Extended are light grids with a sturdy profile for access protection. Only one of the parts needs power supply, since both transmitter and receiver are in the same active part. The other part is passive with mirrors to reflect the beams. With 2-4 beams and an operating range of up to 8 m, it is intended for body detection.
