Question: Is there a requirement for a main isolator to be fitted when a voltage optimisation unit is installed?
Also, another question - can an energy monitor be fitted alongside a voltage optimisation system to record kW usage?
Answer: At the origin of the installation, a main isolator should be provided as a means of isolation and of interruption of the supply.
For the answer to your second question, no alterations are required to enable an energy monitor to be installed alongside a voltage optimisation system.
