The latest initiative by Volution Holdings, which recently acquired ventilation market leader Vent-Axia, is the formation of Integrated Air Solutions as a specialist business:
Integrated Air Solutions (IAS) will have exclusive rights to the Vent-Axia range of air conditioning products recently launched into the UK market. IAS has already established clear routes to market via a nationwide network of specialist contractors and is aiming high. "We see considerable as-yet unserved potential for the right products-and-service offering in the UK air conditioning market" says Volution Holdings' Chief Executive Kevin Sargeant.
By focusing on a core range of advanced-design R407c-based split systems, IAS is positioning itself for the commercial market in both the new-build and refurbishment sectors. "As with our ventilation business, product availability and service delivery are key factors" says Kevin Sargeant.
The product range:
The product range includes wall-mounted cooling-only, heat pump and energy-saving inverter-type split air conditioning units, plus ceiling-cassette and convertible floor/ceiling splits - complemented by digital group controllers for multiple installations, and free standing portable units.
IAS is also investing heavily in free, specialist training for contractors wanting to strengthen and consolidate their air conditioning business. "IAS is committed to helping its customers ensure that their newer team members can be fully qualified as quickly and cost effectively as possible" says Kevin Sargeant.
Backed by an on-line team giving free applications advice and technical guidance, plus a ready supply of product nationwide, the IAS operation will fully support Vent-Axia's traditional and well-proven pattern of providing total solutions and in-depth customer support.
The formation of Integrated Air Solutions marks a full-scale entry into a highly competitive arena. This latest move will undoubtedly be a significant development for UK air conditioning.
