New from Thorn, CiviTEQ is a versatile LED road lantern family offering performance and value to provide a cost-effective lighting solution for new and refurbishment projects.
CiviTEQ is a compact road lighting luminaire suitable for residential roads and traffic routes. It is easy to handle and install, providing an output of up to 8 600 llm in the smaller 5.7 kg size and up to 17 000 llm in the larger 9.6 kg body.
CiviTEQ’s low weight and windage ensures compatibility with existing poles which is especially beneficial for minimising installation costs during refurbishment projects.
Featuring an R-PEC optic offering 12 types of light distribution, CiviTEQ provides the lighting designer with choices to ensure suitability for the application and minimise costly wasted light. Comfort road and street optics are also available to meet higher G-class requirements.
As well as highly efficient light engines (up to 126 Luminaire Lumens Per Watt), CiviTEQ can be fitted with Thorn’s bi-power switch to further maximise energy savings through night-time dimming. CiviTEQ is compatible with leading remote central management systems for individual control and monitoring via power line or radio frequency. Standard lighting control options include adjustable light output, constant light output and DALI compatibility. Mains dimming can also be accommodated if required.
CiviTEQ is fitted with an Optibloc® double IP66 sealing system for the gear compartment and optic. This ensures longevity and performance throughout the luminaire’s low cost of ownership 100 000 hour lifetime.
