Zero Carbon Solutions
Current and impending changes to Legislation, driven by the Government’s commitment to the Kyoto Protocol mean greater awareness of the effect of Greenhouse Gas emissions and their impact on Global Warming.
Applied Energy is committed to providing Zero Carbon product solutions and has recently taken over Stiebel Eltron’s distribution in the UK and Ireland, giving it access to leading edge Zero Carbon solutions such as Air and Ground Source Heat Pumps and Solar Collectors. These new and environmentally friendly products will allow Specifiers and Contractors to remain compliant following changes to Part L which come into force from April 2006.
Decent Homes Standard - Specifier Roadshows in May 2005.
Applied Energy’s expertise is based on an in depth knowledge of its markets, customers, and legislation. Its solutions driven approach has seen Applied Energy introduce a number of initiatives over recent months including detailed insights into The Decent Homes Standard.
Specifiers attended a series of CPD approved seminars about the Decent Homes Standard. These were held at high profile venues throughout the country including Premiership grounds such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Birmingham City.
In total 15 events took place. Over 600 people gained a unique insight into the impact of the Decent Homes legislation and how Applied Energy can provide Ventilation, Showering, and Heating solutions to help Specifiers achieve the Standard.

Xpelair celebrates its 50th Birthday
Xpelair has been designing and manufacturing Ventilation solutions in the UK for 50 years. Key to this success has been a consistent focus on the core values of Leadership, Trust, Expertise and Dependability.
