Creda NOBO E4EU (series 14) panel heaters are now keeping residents warm and comfortable at Saxton, an exciting development in Leeds which has been created by the highly successful award-winning developer Urban Splash, working with architects Union North.
Design and quality are central to all of Urban Splash’s regeneration projects; and the company is known for taking on difficult sites and projects that other developers reject. At Saxton two 50-year-old former council housing blocks on a 2.6 ha (6 acre) site and set among extensive landscaped gardens were converted into 410 attractive homes, for open market sales, shared ownership and social housing for rent. Sophisticated yet straightforward controls complete the loop. These controls include an easy to read temperature controller operating over the range 5oC – 30oC. A silent electronic thermostat gives users precise control over the warmth of their surroundings, so that energy can be used economically without any loss of comfort. The digital timer is fully programmable over seven days and 24 hours, with auto on, auto off and manual modes. A programme override ensures total flexibility. In the event of a power failure, an internal rechargeable NI-cad battery provides 150 hours of memory back-up, preserving the heater settings until power is restored. Safety features include rounded corner profiles, an overheat safety cut-out and splash-proof construction classified to IP24. Tamperproof covers are also available.
