Question:
We are installing a BS5839-6 LD1 Fire Detection “Grade C” smoke alarms in a residential block permanently wired to a separate way on the RCD side of a Dual RCD consumer unit which also supplies socket outlets. Would this be compliant with BS7671 & BS5839-6 for the 230v supply to the smoke alarms?
Is it recommended to supply the smoke alarms form a lighting circuit?
