Question: Does an on/off switch for an electrical shower have to be outside the bathroom, or can it be in the bathroom but out of reach for someone in the shower?
Answer: Equipment installed within a bathroom must be suitably located and normally out of reach to a person using the bath or shower. This may not apply to the cord of a pull cord switch. Generally, the pull cord switch is located out of the zones, and with a wall switch outside the room.
