We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Manager to lead our North Sales team to success. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve the North Regional Sales and GP targets. This role manages the following regions: Scotland, North East, North West, Yorkshire, North Wales and North West Midlands. The successful candidate must have a Full UK Driving licence and availability for business travel.

What are the main duties of this role?
• Implement the national sales strategy in the region.
• Develop regional sales tactics to achieve sales and GP targets.
• Responsible for the day-to-day management and motivation of the East Sales Team.
• Develop, coach, direct, motivate and manage your team to enable delivery of agreed their sales and activity targets.
• To be an integral part of the UK Management Team, contributing to and developing strategies/tactics to ensure the company achieves its targets.
• To promote and defend the brand equity of the Marshall Tufflex brand and promote its differentials.
• To complete and maintain appropriate data collection, analysis, and management reporting.
• Implement a contact strategy to ensure your regional customers are seen regularly and with purpose. Including national wholesalers, regional wholesalers, buying groups and other key customers.
• Ensure the Sales matrix is maintained and updated by the team using SMART inputs.
The successful candidate will be able to prove a successful track record in:
• Sales delivery, at a regional level within Electrical Industry.
• Negotiating profitable commercial agreements at a regional or national level.
• Managing the P&L of a sales region.
• Area & Project Management – experience of managing a sales team and developing sales through a range of channels, building trusting and supportive customer relationships.
• Product & Technical Knowledge – Knowledge and technical understanding of a broad product portfolio.
• Sales and commercial presentations.
