Redring's Selectronic thermostatically controlled instantaneous electric showers are claimed to be one of the safest showers available. Having achieved the new and additional safety standards necessary for use in care establishments and for less able users, Selectronic is the ideal product for domestic, commercial or institutional use.

Endorsed by the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB), Selectronic is pre-programmed to provide hot water at a comfortably capped, safe temperature of 40 degrees C, with cooler adjustment if required. No accidental increase in temperature is possible thus providing guaranteed protection against scalding.
In addition, Selectronic has many other safety features including: an audible feedback response to commands; large easy press function buttons and LED readout and print; tactile button coding and colour coded shower head and clamp for visibility.
With a BEAB CARE mark, this easy one-touch operation shower has a phased shutdown to ensure a cool start for the next user, together with an automatic shutdown, after 30 minutes of continuous use.
Selectronic is switched on and off by an integral solenoid valve, and once operational the optimum flow rate is calculated and adjusted automatically dependent upon incoming water temperature. Water is heated instantly as it flows over the heaters in the heat exchanger.
The shower will automatically amend the power of the heating elements and flow of the water to achieve the selected water temperature, whilst the Logic PCB ensures the actual temperature matches the temperature selected.
Accessories for the Selectronic include curved multi-mode, rub clean handsets; variable riser rail with adjustable handset holder and soap dish and grab rails.
The unit is available with a three year manufacturer's guarantee and is available from Redring, part of Applied Energy Products.
