Question: Please can you advise a storage heating solution for the following scenario: a two story building - sustained heat loss 20kW-12 hour discharge (occupancy plus heat-up) period - nine hour night rate tariff period.
Please advise on how many storage heaters I need to install, and what charge rate to use?
Answer: Assuming that the heat loss = 10 kwh per floor, then this could be matched with eight of the Dimplex Quantum QM150 heaters per floor. This would require potentially a mix of product sizes if the floor area is to be sub-divided up.
