Q & A of the Day – Do cable installations in hotel bedrooms have to be in LSF?
Question: Can you please advise whether there is a requirement to wire bedrooms, within hotels, in LSF cable?

Answer: No, there is no requirement to use LSF cable for general wiring systems within hotels, other than fire alarm or emergency lighting etc.

Of course there may be designers who specify that this particular type of cable be used.
