Question: As part of my current job, I have to convert several different able sizes from imperial (eg: 7029) to metric in order to quote a rewire of an old crane in a power station. Is there a formula or a conversion chart available?

Answer: Please see this attached file, which has a useful comparative list. Please make sure you use the next largest metric size when assessing intermediate imperial sizes.
