Q & A of the Day – This big room has two heaters - will the controls affect each other?

This Q & A is one of thousands posted in our Technical Expertise area, and answered on a daily basis by our Voltimum Experts.

Question: I’m currently involved in installing two heaters in a long, large room. Will their controls affect each other?

Answer: Always set the heater in the area of the room that's used the most as the master heater by setting the controls to the comfort level required, then adjust any other heater/s to a slightly lower setting. The heater will then operate as a master in the main area and the other/s will act as slaves.

Avoid setting both heaters at the same level, as they can adjust their charge in response to the other heat source, which may disrupt the room temperature.
