The IET has launched a new version of the Wiring Regulations e-books. Wiring Regulations Digital: Online is a web-based e-book solution for multi-user access to BS 7671 and associated guidance.
Responding to industry requirements for a fast, accessible way to view the Wiring Regulations without the need to individually download software, the new platform is designed for larger companies needing concurrent multi-user access. Lecturers for Wiring Regulation courses will also find the more flexible access model useful for teaching across different classrooms.
Mindful of the industry’s extensive working knowledge of the printed versions of the books, the IET has developed the e-books with full page-for-page fidelity, ensuring that the familiar layout is kept to throughout the suite of publications.
Additional advantages in using e-books include:
- Time saving search – looking up a specific term or regulation takes seconds with a keyword search
- Hyperlinks from Guidance Notes directly back to the Wiring Regulations save flicking through numerous books
- Bookmarking allows for the most used sections or pages from a book to be saved by personal references
The software is available through an annual subscription giving access to all the latest regulations and guidance.
