Each Kosnic downlight comes with a pre-wired Quickwire plug and a matching Quickwire socket, making it a true game-changer in downlight installation. Our patented Quickwire technology offers an unrivalled method for fast and secure wiring—just strip your twin and earth cable and push it into the socket’s screwless, push-fit terminals for an instant connection. Connecting a socket at each lighting point can be done in a matter of minutes at first fix. Then it’s simply a case of plugging in your downlights at second fix.
The Kosnic downlight itself features an integrated dimmable driver for seamless CCT switching and compatibility with mains dimmer switches, delivering three versatile colour temperature settings—3000K for a warm glow, 4000K for balanced illumination, and 6000K for a crisp, energizing light. Designed for flexibility and ease of installation, it meets fire-rating requirements of 30, 60, and 90 minutes on both I-Joist and solid joist systems, and its shallow depth makes it ideal for spaces with limited ceiling clearance.
A standout feature is the innovative interchangeable magnetic bezels. Supplied with a classic white bezel as standard, you have the option to choose from additional finishes such as chrome, brushed chrome, brass, antique brass and black, ensuring the perfect match for any décor. The magnetic design eliminates the need for twisting lock mechanisms, making it exceptionally easy to swap bezels and refresh your lighting setup whenever you desire.
