New appointments at Hagemeyer and Newey & Eyre

Hagemeyer UK, the parent company of one of the UK's leading electrical distributors Newey & Eyre, has made a number of new key appointments both within Hagemeyer and Newey & Eyre:

New appointments at Hagemeyer and Newey & Eyre
Alan Reynolds (43) has joined Hagemeyer as the company's operations director. Alan has more than 25 years experience in the electrical business having worked on all sides of the trade. Previous positions include a year in manufacturing at Legrand and eight years in contracting as a fully qualified approved electrician. Alan spent more than 16 years with Rexel Senate where he started as a sales representative. From there he went on to become a branch manager, sales director and area director before finally working as the sales and marketing director.

Hagemeyer's new commercial and marketing director, Len Loizou (41) has vast experience within the electrical industry. He joins with 20 years in the industry, having held positions at Rexel Senate, where he worked for 14 years, including marketing development director, national accounts director and regional director.

Chris Gibson (37) has been appointed as sales director for Newey & Eyre. Chris has an extensive understanding of the business following 14 years with the company in a variety of roles including, branch manager, area sales manager, and national sales manager. Chris noted: "My first task as sales director will be to develop the existing sales team, as well as increasing the sales force by approximately 40% over the coming months."

In addition Mark Fiddy (38) has been appointed as the new national sales manager for Newey & Eyre. With 20 years in the electrical wholesale industry and four of those being with Newey & Eyre, Mark is looking forward to working with an excellent sales team to secure more national contracts.

Anthony McDaniel (47) has also recently joined the company as Hagemeyer human resources director. Anthony's last position was as HR director of Matalan plc, a multi-size retail organisation with 15,000 staff.

These positions are in addition to the recent announcement of John Hogan' s appointment as the new CEO for Hagemeyer UK and Ireland, with his primary aim to complete the Hagemeyer UK turnaround and realise the growth potential of the Hagemeyer UK business.
