Supplied as a complete system, the Selectronic Premier LAP is designed for level access showering and is ideal for care applications and wet rooms, whilst also providing a reliable solution for installations where gravity drainage is not possible.
For installers and end users, the product offers complete flexibility in terms of siting and as the pump is controlled directly by the shower unit there is no need for a flow switch and additional wiring, reducing installation time. The low-voltage pump guarantees safety, safeguards against blockages and there is no need for regular maintenance.
The Selectronic Premier LAP represents the very latest in shower innovation. Fully thermostatic in its operation, the shower can be pre-programmed to provide hot water at a constant and safe temperature, with various temperature lock mode options to eliminate any accidental temperature increases.
The only shower of its kind to achieve inclusive design status and the first to be awarded the BEAB Care Mark, the unit is controlled via a large, one-touch easy-to-press button with tactile button coding and a conveniently located large LED display enables easy visibility and legibility. It also features an audible feedback response to push-button commands, making it particularly suited to the blind or partially sighted. The Selectronic Premier LAP also comes complete with a one-metre riser rail and a longer shower hose - practical additions for the elderly and less able.
In addition to the safety and ease of use features, the Selectronic Premier LAP also offers water and energy saving credentials. The Eco Water-Save function automatically calculates and adjusts optimum flow rates, meeting the water consumption requirements of the Code for Sustainable Homes. The Eco Power-Save feature also automatically adjusts the power of the heating elements and the flow of water to achieve the desired water temperature. Together these features help to bring dramatic water and energy savings.
