Newey & Eyre is telling everyone about its unrivalled cable distribution service – Nationwide Cables - with the launch of a new customer guide.

Available to pick up at any one of the 170 plus Newey & Eyre branches, the new guide provides an overview of the extensive range of cable and related product lines available through Nationwide Cables.
Although the need to replace cables, particularly a product that is a little out of the ordinary, may not be a regular occurrence, when it is required contractors need to know that there is an electrical wholesaler who has the specialist knowledge to identify it and the resource to stock it.
Unlike the majority of wholesalers who typically carry 2- 3,000 electrical product lines in an average branch, Newey & Eyre has an in-house facility supporting its branch network dedicated to stocking and sourcing specialist cables, with over 25 years experience in the supply of virtually every kind of cable. This ensures that electrical contractors can reliably source the exact products they need, when they need them. If for some reason the item isn’t immediately available, Newey & Eyre can turn to a massive database, built-up over years of trading, to quickly source the item or to offer a direct alternative.
Nationwide Cables holds a vast stock of power and energy cables at the head office in Minworth, Birmingham, close to all major communications routes. To provide a high level of service, the division also has remote cable units at Glasgow and Park Royal on the outskirts of London.
The business stocks in excess of 6,000 different product lines from all of the biggest names in cables including Cablel, Nexans, Draka UK, Hawke International and Prysmian Cables and Systems and, where applicable, all cables are BASEC approved. At Nationwide Cables, not only is product recognition and knowledge highly important but so is the care taken with packaging to ensure all orders arrive in one consignment.
David Pemblington from Nationwide Cables said: “The sole focus of our dedicated team is to serve our nationwide branch network and their customers. Our customer service advisors are all cabling specialists they will ensure that they ask the correct series of questions to make sure our customers receive exactly the right product, ensuring the most efficient, flexible and cost-effective service in the market.”
