Leading cable management manufacturer Marshall-Tufflex is now Planet Mark certified as part of their journey to Net Zero
Leading cable management manufacturer Marshall-Tufflex is now Planet Mark certified as part of their journey to Net Zero to cut emissions across all areas of their business operation.
Planet Mark provides third-party verification and holds participants accountable by requiring a reduction in carbon emissions to re-certify. The certification covers Scope 1, 2 and some ‘core’ Scope 3 emissions that are easily under organisational control (e.g., Waste generated in operations and business travel). Planet Mark Members must reduce their carbon footprint by at least 2.5% every year but targeting a 5% annual reduction in carbon emissions is recommended.
Marshall-Tufflex has demonstrated their responsibility to sustainability in recent years through their commitment to recycling by using PVC-U originating from windows within their manufacturing process. They have also taken a number of steps to reducing carbon emissions, including a new fleet of electric lithium-ion battery forklift trucks and the installation of electric vehicle charging points at their head office in Hastings.
