What is AOne?
Aurora’s AOne comprises two different types of smart lighting systems: AOne Connect.Control (Bluetooth) and AOne Zigbee.
AOne Connect.Control is a super simple smart solution and can be used straight out of the box - there’s absolutely no set up required! Operated with bluetooth technology, users can manage their lighting with just a remote control, an excellent method as it means that wherever it’s installed, anyone in the household can easily set the lighting to their preference. To install Connect.Control simply open the box, install the light fittings, turn on the remote and you’ve got smart lighting. Users don’t even need a hub or have to download an app. The remotes can be grouped to each application and users can access six RGB colours, trigger five pre-programmed scenes, set brightness or adjust colour temperature from warm to cool. Should users want to do more, they can download the Aurora BLE app and edit the 5 preset scenes recalled from the remote, take control of individual devices, create schedules to suit routines and access the music mode.
AOne Zigbee is a system that comprises a vast range of lighting, control, power and sensing products that can transform living spaces by creating a variety of moods and scenes through different lighting and control options. Designed with the installer in mind, one of the biggest benefits of the AOne Zigbee smart lighting system is the ease and speed at which it can be installed by the professionals. How to Transform Gardens with Smart LED Strip & GU10s
When it comes to creating areas designed for seating, hot tubs or more on decking or patios, smart lighting can play a large part when creating different scenes for different activities. It transforms each area and allows for complete control. For example, lighting can be a warm white for a cosy hot tub session or colourful for cocktails and dinner with friends.
Smart LED strip and GU10s are ideal for these areas and we offer them in both smart systems.
In our Connect.Control range, our Bluetooth LED Strip kit can simply be cut (with cut points every 167mm) and placed wherever desired: under seating, stairs, around the decking, the choice is endless. Simply connect your LED strip once placed in the desired location, turn on the remote and take control. With RGB and tuneable white colour temperatures between 2700-5000K as well as a 5-100% dimming range, there’s plenty of choice to suit every mood. These come in 3m and 5m options, and we’ve now just released an LED Strip Addition Pack too, which are a simple and cost effective way to add more runs of the connect.control™ RGB + Tuneable White LED strip to the LED strip kit, increasing the length you are able to run off of the 5m and 3m strip kit.
Our Connect.Control GU10’s are also ideal for outdoor fittings such as spike or ground lights. The Bluetooth GU10 lamps come with RGB + tuneable white built in and will retrofit into existing fixtures with a GU10 base.
Our AOne Zigbee range has both ‘Smart Inside’ products and ‘Make Smart’ products. Our smart GU10’s are ’Smart Inside’ products and enable homeowners full control over their lighting. Choose from our tuneable white or RGB and tuneable white products to tailor your lighting scheme. One of the advantages of this range is that homeowners can choose from the full range of our non-smart LED strip then make it smart by adding a hub in addition to the appropriate Strip Controller.
