The LS1 Low Acid PVC has offers an ingress protection IP66 and 67 rating, which means it can be used in demanding environments such as machine tools and heavy industry. Mechanical strength is also a key feature, giving very high protection against damage from physical impact and providing a high pull off rating.
With the ability to screen against interference from RFI, EMI and EMP, LS1 helps in compliance with current EMC Directives. LS1 Low Acid PVC, with a C12 connector, screens to 74dB at 1MHz providing valuable protection to critical plant and appliances.
Conduits and fittings across a range of sizes and materials are available thus ensuring the optimum solution for any requirement. There are two connector types with the general purpose C12 constructed from aluminium, simple to use and easy to fit. For heavy duty requirements, the C14 is constructed from zinc plated steel, which provides an extra degree of screening for areas where interference is a problem.
