The Electrical Safety Council (ESC) recently carried out tests on a number of plugs bought over the internet. As you will see from the clip, the product exploded almost as soon as it was plugged into a socket.
With a big shift to online shopping, people are put in danger by counterfeit and sub-standard goods that do not meet safety standards.
