EIC is calling on industry professionals and the wider public to cast their votes as the final round of voting opens for the Smiley Charity Film Awards.
Having successfully secured a place among the finalists thanks to the strong backing of our community in the first round, the EIC now has the opportunity to win a share of £100,000 in prize funding. The awards, organised by The Smiley Company, recognise powerful storytelling in the charity sector and celebrate films that inspire positive social change.
Finalists are competing for several major awards, including:
£10,000 – Grand Prix: Film of the Year
£10,000 – Grand Prix: People’s Choice
£3,000 – Category Winners
£3,000 – People’s Choice Winners
Winning or placing in these categories would provide vital funding to support the Electrical Industries Charity’s ongoing work.
The shortlisted film highlights the EIC's mission to provide critical support to individuals and families within the electrical and energy sectors for 120 years.
This next round of voting is crucial not only for funding, but also for raising awareness of the challenges many in our industry face every day.
