Question: A customer tells me that when she turns on the electric shower, the lights in the house dim significantly and stay dim until the shower is turned off. A visual inspection shows nothing out of the ordinary. Can you suggest any possible causes, and how I should start to investigate?
Answer: The following are possible reasons:
- Low incoming voltage at intake
- Loose connection/connections
- The shower may have a very high load rating.
