A cable concealed in a wall or partition at a depth of less than 50mm from the surface (of either side) shall comply with certain conditions:
‘A Guide to Cables Concealed in a Wall or Partition, Regulation 522-06-06’ is the name of a brief but important ECA guidance document regarding cables, including those to BS8436, concealed in walls or partitions at a depth of less than 50mm from the surface (of either side). A caution is provided.
