The new ultra-contemporary Living Art wall-mounted fire from Dimplex uses the latest technology to create an instant mood change at the touch of a button, from roaring log fire to a soothing aquarium.
The wall mounted TFT (thin film transistor) landscape display unit, comes with a compact 1GB flash card featuring eight continuous-loop moving scenes with sound, including a cosy coal fire and a waterfall.
The unit, which is finished in black, has built-in speakers and the remote control means the mood of the room can be directed from the comfort of a chair – from crystal clear image selection, including a tropical beach or snow capped mountain, to volume control of the realistic background sounds, as well as heat options.
The electric fire features a sleek, dark glass front to make an impact and style statement in any room, while the twin fan heaters provide an output of 1kW.
As it’s wall-mounted, the Living Art requires no specialist installation and because it’s electric there is no need for a chimney or flue. Like all Dimplex fires, the Living Art is BEAB approved for an extra guarantee of safety. The LVA is sized: height 440mm, width 690mm and total depth 70mm.
