Following the demand of their first radio charger launched in 2001, Dewalt have launched two new models in response to user feedback.

The first of the two new units can be powered from either mains voltage or 7.2-18v Dewalt batteries. Looking very similar to the existing unit, the DC010 is distinguished only by its grey coloured speakers and offers users all that the old radio did, except for the charging facility. Still capable of being run off of mains or 9.6-18v Dewalt batteries this new model is also available in 240v and 110v to meet site regulations.
The other new model in the Dewalt range is the DC011, looking almost space-age this unit boasts increases performance and functionality over the existing and competitive radios. Using an all new digital tuner with shatter proof display, the new unit also encompasses new functions such as 8 station memory presets and a built-in clock. This new tuning system also promises to deliver 65% better reception than the old unit.
To ‘get the party started’ the new DC011 also guarantees to be 78% louder than the existing model by using high efficiency, weather resistant, dual bass port speakers.
While still integrating all those features currently used on the existing model of a heavy duty shock mounted roll cage and a charger for 7.2-18v NiCd and NiMh batteries, but now also including a CD player case and auxiliary input this new radio is bound to be a hit on all UK sites.
The Two new Dewalt radios will be available from September 2004 from your local Dewalt stockist.
