ABB has published its latest product catalogue highlighting its extensive product range for the electrical contractor. Available in an all-new, compact A5 size, the new booklet, titled ‘The Catalogue for the Electrical Contractor’ is ideal for site visits and will fit comfortably in any toolbox.
The 174-page publication, with full price listings, is divided into seven sections and arranged in order of product groups, making it easier for contractors to find exactly what they are looking for. The main index provides a quick reference guide with pictures highlighting the five key product areas including Distribution, Switching, Control, Domestic and Enclosures.
Included amongst the wide range of equipment available is ABB’s Housemaster consumer unit, which features a sliding access door that opens and closes within the unit itself, requiring less space for installations than conventional door designs and minimising the risk of accidental breakages. Then units are also available with factory fitted switch disconnectors and/or Residual Current Devices (RCD) which are particularly relevant given the new guidelines in the 17th Edition IEE regulations on the use of RCD’s in the home.
