The company's AC Charge Station recharges EVs in a few hours - at night or when the driver is at work, or during every day activities, such as shopping or dining out. Adhering to latest standards and technologies, the product combines maximum user safety with high charging performance.
Using a modular design, the ABB charger can be provided with three different setups:
- Single charging unit, one socket
- Dual charging unit, two sockets
- Full function charger with vertical display, one or two.

Smart connected charging station:
The Terra SC is a smart connected charging station designed for convenient fast charging. It will fully charge a car in 30-120 minutes while the EV driver attends a meeting, works in the office, shops, goes to a gym or has a meal. This user-centric approach means that this charging system provides a low threshold opportunity for EV service providers to tap into the increasing EV charging revenue stream.
This charging station will optimally support charging of EVs for company fleets, free parking and commercial parking situations.
'Intelligent' charging:
ABB's Terra 100.2 Base Station is a web-connected, intelligent, DC fast-charging system with 50kW power output. It is compatible with all EVs using the CHAdeMO standard, and is suitable when many vehicles need to be charged simultaneously.
In combination with ABB's Terra Charge Post, this Base Station can be used to charge two vehicles at the same time. Typical charging times are between 15 and 30 minutes. Designed to be future proof, the built-in intelligence is updateable via the web and ready for future network developments.
The optional software controlled power-limiting feature allows the base station to match grid capacity if full input power is not available. It has been designed for easy installation and can be positioned out of sight up to 20m from a Terra Charge Post.
Supplied with an unobtrusive IP54 outdoor housing and an ultra quiet integrated airflow cooling system, it is suitable for installation at all kinds of premises, including car parks, shopping malls and other service areas.
