The Electrical & Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA) is asking people to help the industry's needy by contributing to its Christmas Appeal 2004:

Next year, the Electrical & Electronics Industries Benevolent Association (EEIBA) will celebrate 100 years of helping those less fortunate people who have either worked or are working in the Electrical & Electronics Industries.

Since the last century, the working environment has changed out of all recognition and it is unlikely that the charity's founders would recognise the industries that are represented today. However, it is certain that they would be pleased to know that the association they founded continues to relieve need and distress in a contemporary environment of such great change and development.

To be able to offer that special 'Positive Help' for the next 100 years the EEIBA does need your continual financial support.

A donation of £10 will help towards:

  • Remembering the most needy at Christmas - the EEIBA's Christmas card is often the only one they receive.
  • The purchase of a wheelchair or stair lift for the infirm or disabled.
  • Helping someone with their finances, following redundancy.
  • Providing food hampers for those who cannot afford that special meal.
  • Helping with respite care for the terminally ill or the chronically sick.
  • Helping a child with special needs.

Please remember those from our industries, who have fallen upon difficult times, this Christmas, by sending your cheque for £10 or whatever amount you can afford to: EEIBA Christmas Appeal 2004, 8 Station Parade, Balham High Road, London SW12 9BH
