Voltimum Unboxing: Ensto BEZA box adapter

The beauty of the BEZA box connector, from Finnish business, Ensto, is not just its flexibility but also its quick connection.

Where, for example, you’re using 25mm metal conduit with BEZA boxes to fan coils, lighting systems, AC units, etc, the pre-wired, pre-terminated two-part adapter simply clips together with a chosen connector to allow a reciprocal plug to be inserted and make a connection.

BEZA box stats

BEZA Box Adapter comprises BZL-XL.G then a connector type is a separate part depending on the number of poles and its parenthesis (pole markings).

Configurations

There can be any number of poles: 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

2-pole & 3-pole are 32A (larger Pins)

4-pole

Pole markings as L1, L2, N, PE or A, B, C, D

5-pole

L1, L2, L3, N, PE for 3-phase

A,B,C,D,E for control 

L, N, E, a+, b- for BUS (Dali, KNX)

6-pole 

6-wire ring so L, N, PE, L, N, PE

Control via L, N, PE, A, B, C 

BUS via L1, N, PE, L2, a+, b-

In all cases the colour of the connector identifies the type of parenthesis so Black = Power, Grey = BUS, Dark Grey = Control, RED = UPS power.
