The visit brought together key members of their team, including Environmental and Quality Manager, Ketlyn Silva, and Procurement Manager, Gareth Townsend, to discuss how we’re working collaboratively to make measurable progress towards Net Zero.

Sustainability has been at the core of Marshall-Tufflex’s business for many years. As a market leading UK manufacturer of cable management solutions, they are committed to operating responsibly and efficiently, while continuing to deliver high-quality, innovative products for customers.

Partnering with Planet Mark

In 2023, Marshall-Tufflex partnered with Planet Mark, an organisation renowned for helping businesses measure, reduce, and communicate their carbon impact. Planet Mark’s expertise supported the cable management manufacturer in accurately assessing their scope 1, 2, and core scope 3 emissions, setting meaningful reduction targets, and embedding sustainable practices across all business operations. Their team also provides valuable guidance on employee engagement and supplier collaboration, helping them align their goals and gear towards a shared objective of achieving Net Zero.

Embedding Sustainability Across Operations

The packaging for the brands moulded product ranges were reviewed and redesigned to improve both sustainability and efficiency. The new design is made from 100% recycled and recyclable materials, reduces operator cycle time, and delivers cost savings through a streamlined assembly process.

Commitment

Marshall-Tufflex are proud of the progress they have made so far and recognise that achieving Net Zero is a shared and ongoing journey. Their success depends on the dedication of their staff, the collaboration of suppliers, and the continued support of customers, all working together to drive meaningful change. Marshall-Tufflex would like to thank Planet Mark for their partnership and guidance, helping them measure their impact, stay accountable, and keep progressing towards a more sustainable future.
