Five dedicated runners are gearing up to take on the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 26 April, in support of the Electrical Industries Charity.
Each runner is training hard for the challenge ahead while raising vital funds that will be reinvested directly into the electrical and energy industry. Donations will help support a wide range of essential services, including mental health support and awareness, financial assistance, homelessness support, legal advice, and much more.

Darren House and Mark Lambert
Darren and Mark, from AWEBB, will be running the marathon side by side as part of the celebrations marking AWEBB’s fiftieth anniversary. Already making strong progress towards their fundraising target, this dynamic duo shows no signs of slowing down as race day approaches.
David Grimes
By day, David works at Edmundson Electrical - but his commitment doesn’t stop when the working day ends. Outside office hours, David has been training hard and fundraising tirelessly for a cause that means a great deal to him.
Dean Wilsher
Dean, from LEW, previously completed the London Marathon for EIC in 2019 and is returning this year with renewed determination. His goal is to beat his personal best while raising even more funds for the Electrical Industries Charity.
Neil Crook
Neil has joined his AWEBB colleagues in their mission to give back to the industry during AWEBB’s fiftieth year. Currently deep into an intensive training schedule, Neil is preparing to cross the finish line in support of a cause close to his heart.
The Electrical Industries Charity extends its sincere thanks to the London Marathon team for their dedication and commitment to supporting the electrical and energy industry.
