Marshall-Tufflex are pleased to announce that Bench Trunking will be joining their bio range, manufactured with built-in antimicrobial protection as standard from 1st October 2025.

Bench trunking now with antimicrobial protection

Bench Trunking is commonly installed in schools, hospitals, laboratories and workbenches - environments where maintaining high standards of hygiene is vital. By incorporating antimicrobial technology, this ensures that these installations help maintain a safer, cleaner environment.

The antimicrobial protection used in the Bio range works through silver ion technology, which is incorporated into the trunking material during manufacture. This means it is an integral feature of the product, offering continuous protection that will not wear away, even if the surface becomes scratched or damaged. Independently tested to ISO 22196:2011, the technology has been proven to reduce bacterial counts by more than 99.9%, with effectiveness against harmful organisms.

Bench Trunking now joins Sterling Curve and Odyssey as part of the Marshall-Tufflex Bio family, further extending the choice of antimicrobial containment systems available to installers seeking proven protection in hygiene-sensitive environments.

By extending this protection to Bench Trunking, Marshall-Tufflex is strengthening its commitment to supporting safer, cleaner environments.
