Greenings' renowned cable management products have helped provide power for the huge, brand new 32,197m2 Asda distribution centre in Skelmersdale, Lancashire:
The Greenings tray and ladder have been used extensively throughout the entire massive building - a total of 500m for the tray and 250m for the ladder.
Heavy duty return flange cable tray:
The Greenings products used are RM50 Heavy Duty Return Flange cable tray, and HDL125 cable ladder. This cable tray is ideal for applications where high strength and rigidity are paramount and it will carry heavy cable (and pipework) safely with fewer supports than normal. Both products carry the centre's power and distribution cables and were supplied in the standard hot pre-galvanised finish for maximum corrosion resistance. Greenings products' special design features allow installation flexibility and time saving.
Gazeley Properties started the development with joint venture contractor Simons GSE. The electrical contractor was Hallsalls Electrical of Cannock and the electrical wholesaler was Edmundsons Electrical of West Bromwich.
