BS6724 Auxiliary – Multi-Core Armoured Zero Halogen, Low Smoke  (OHLS®)  These cables are designed for industrial wiring for interconnection of systems, control circuitry and small power circuits.  These cables can be laid direct in  ground (in free draining soil), in ducts, clipped to a surface, on trays or in free air.  They may also be embedded in concrete.  Construction Manufacturing standard: BS 6724 Conductors: Stranded plain annealed copper wire (class 2) to BS EN 60228. Insulation: XLPE Bedding: Zero Halogen, Low Smoke (OHLS) Armour: Galvanised Steel Wire Armour  Sheath: Zero Halogen, Low Smoke (OHLS) Core colours: White with Black numerals Sheath colour: Black  (Other colours available on request) Physical Characteristics Voltage rating (U0/U): 600/1000V Max. conductor temp.: 90°C   Note: Where a conductor operates at a temperature exceeding 70°C it  shall be ascertained that the equipment connected to the conductor is  suitable for the conductor operating temperature (see regulation  512-1-5 of BS7671, the 17th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations) Min. bending radius: 6 x overall diameter Current rating: Refer to tables 4E4A & 4E4B in BS7671 or ERA 69-30 Part V, apply the  correction factor to two core as per Table 4B5 in BS7671 Performance Characteristics Smoke emission:  BS EN 61034-2. Acid gas emission: BS EN 50267-2-1 Flame propagation: BS EN 60332-3-24 AUXILIARY Other sheath colours available on request
