Regulation 443.4.1 Now states that transient overvoltage protection must be provided where the consequence of overvoltage can cause serious injury to, or loss of, human life, the failure of a safety service, significant financial or data loss. No exceptions are permitted in these cases. Transient overvoltage is also required in all other cases too.
