This course sets out a  plan for a far more integrated and modern  approach to wiring for homes.  Smart Home Wiring explores the requirements  of data, entertainment, security and other  services in a considered flexible way.  The course is based on CEDIA’s Smart Home  Recommended Wiring Guidelines, the modern  standard to home cables and infrastructure. 5 CERTSURE TRAINING Throughout the course, delegates will be guided through practical demonstrations, including fitting and testing connections and wiring a data network suitable for a smart home.  Day one will cover ‘Cables and Connectivity’ with day two focusing on ‘Data Networks in Residential Properties’. The training will conclude with a Q&A followed by a short written test. After successfully completing this course, delegates will be primed to develop their knowledge and skills in other areas of smart home technology, including audio and video distribution, sub-system integration and control.  The next date for CEDIA and Certsure’s Data Cabling for Domestic Installers  course  Monday 27th – Tuesday 28th  June 2016. The training is available to  registered NICEIC/ALEXA members for £290 +VAT and Non-Registered members for£320 +VAT.
