Draka BS7889  - Industrial Single Core Cable Unamroured industrial single core wiring cable with cross linked polyethene insulation and PVC sheath. Suitable for installation in areas with reduced  risk of mechanical damage; on tray, in free air or clipped direct.  Suitable also for conduit and wiring installations when mechanical protection is required. Construction   Manufacturing standard: BS 7889 Conductors: Stranded plain annealed copper wire (Class 2) to BS EN 60228 Insulation: XLPE Sheath: PVC Core colours: Brown or Blue Sheath colour: Black  Physical Characteristics Voltage rating (Uo/U) : 600/1000V Max. conductor temp: 90°C   Note: Where a conductor operates at a temperature exceeding 70°C it  shall be ascertained that the equipment connected to the conductor is  suitable for the conductor operating temperature (see regulation  512-1-5  of BS7671, the 17th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations) Min. bending radius: 4D (up to and including 185mm²) 6D (240mm² and larger) Curent rating: Refer to tables 4E1A & 4E1B in BS7671 BS7889 Other colours available on request
