At the Electrical Industry Awards 2008, held at The Marriott, Grosvenor Square, London, on 29 October, Kew Technik Blade Runner, a tool introduced in a blaze of publicity by The Kew Technik Group late in 2007, won Innovative Industrial Product of the Year together with the ultimate accolade of Overall Innovative Product of the Year.
