I was reading the installation instructions for a shower I was installig and it said the shower should be protected by a 30mAmp RCD. The wiring regulations dont make it a requirement so which takes priority? IEE or manufacturer
sir. if a fan or heater ect is fitted into a existing bathroom and the house has no rcd protection are rcd fused spurs still allowed to control the said apliances .and would the main earthbond to gas and water have to be have to be evident
