The Drives & Controls 08 exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham on Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th April, will see the UK premier of PHOENIX CONTACT"e;s ‘nanoLine"e; micro PLC, and coincide with its Worldwide launch at the same time at the Hanover Fair.
To enter the draw to be one of the first people to own a ‘nanoLine"e; PLC, visit PHOENIX CONTACT on stand D51.
PHOENIX CONTACT is the global market leader in connection, signal conversion and interface, surge voltage protection and industrial automation technology and will use Drives & Controls to showcase its innovative new products.
‘nanoLine"e; is the PLC range for basic control applications, such as building control, and simple machines, being designed for solutions in price competitive markets where connectivity is increasingly required.
The ‘nanoLine"e; product range offers class-leading flexibility, and competitiveness because of its expandability and large number of options available for the five base controller units that can be supplied with 24V DC, 24V AC/DC or 100-240V AC and have transistor or relay outputs.
The control platform has easy application programming and its modular construction offers expansion flexibility of up to 24 inputs and 16 outputs from three IO extension units. A four channel analogue module is also available for 4-20 ma, 0-10V DC and +/- 10V DC inputs.
When required plug-in connection modules provide Ethernet, USB, RS232, and RS485 connectivity with GSM/GPRS to follow.
‘nanoLine"e; also offers an operator interface for data entry and display of information and IO status, with up to 24 messages of text and numerical data being displayed on four lines of 20 characters. This display module can be mounted directly on the base controller itself, or using the optional mounting kit and 60cm cable can be mounted onto the door of a control panel for example.
‘nanoLine"e; has its own innovative and user-friendly flowchart style, drag-and-drop programming software tool called ‘nanoNavigator"e;, which is available as a free-of-charge download, or included within a starter kit.
