| Legrand cable tray. |
Question: Can a three-phase lighting and power installation use singles on cable tray that is fixed above a height of 2.7m, and contained within a single industrial warehouse?
Answer: You can only support armoured and double insulated cables on cable tray, ladder or basket. If you're using single insulated cables, they need mechanical protection - so must be contained in either cable trunking or lighting trunking.
There is no problem with height.
