Wherever solid conductors or conductors with wire end ferrules are used – be it in machine construction or building services engineering – our terminals with Push In technology offer a huge advantage in terms of efficiency and safety.

Fewer articles - less storage space - less administration work - less panel space: saving both time and money. Less is definatley more!

Take the new P-series, it boasts an impressive new concept: three terminals instead of five allows you to wire five conductor cross sections up to 16 mm² in only three terminal sizes. The new P-series comprises installation terminals, feed-through terminals and PE terminals with 2, 3 and 4 connections, isolating terminals and neutral disconnect terminals.

The innovative product concept was made possible by dedicated detail engineering. Just 5.1 mm wide, the PDU 2.5/4 and the PDL 4 have the width of 2.5 mm2 terminals available to date, however, rated at 32 A, they have the rated current of a 4 mm2 terminal. The data for the PDU 6/10 is: design width 8.1 mm and 54 A rated current; the PDU 16 has a design width of 12 mm with a rated current of 76 A. The P-Series of terminals now offer the customer the performance characteristics of the wider modules in narrower housings.

Users of the Push In connection system are impressed by the faster wiring time that is also easy and safe. In comparison with tension clamp terminals, the time saved connecting wires is as much as 50 % (3.5 seconds per wire). Once stripped of insulation,
the solid core wire is simply inserted into the terminal point until it butts against the stop – done! No tools are needed to create a reliable, vibration-resistant and gas-proof connection. Not even flexible wires with crimped-on ferrules or ultrasonic bonded wires are a problem for this connection system.

Huge advantages for all aspects of your company:
Buying

  • Reduces the number of orders placed
  • Fewer items for incoming goods
  • Less master data to maintain

Logistics

  • Saves storage space
  • Reduces back-up stocks
  • Products are quickly identified and labelled

Planning and assembly

  • More freedom in planning electrical cabinets
  • Less space needed due to smaller dimensions
  • Simplified data management means faster planning
  • Quicker mounting

Not only is it Weidmuller's terminals that utilise the Push-In technology, their PCB and OEM Products as well as Lighting Products and a world first Heavy Duty Connectors come with Push-In connections. Visit the Push-In website for more information.
